The Mendon Speedway at the Grand Lake Motorcycle Club
The Mendon Speedway is a 22-acre chunk of rural countryside, tucked away on the edge of West Central Ohio--just 20 minutes southwest of Lima, Ohio.
Formerly a motorcycle racetrack that operated from the late 1960s until 1989, the Speedway now is maintained by the club's membership, who ensure that the 22 acres are well groomed and manicured, just for your Tabfest enjoyment.
The Speedway grounds are situated perfectly to accommodate all Tabfest attendees at all times.
Want to hear some great music? Well grab your cooler and lawnchair/blanket and march on up to our enormous 40' X 60' tent that covers the stage and allows plenty of room for dancing. Plus, the tent is ideal for anyone looking for a few moments of shade, or (knock wood) for dodging any sprinkles that may briefly cool the hot July days.
Interested in a mid-afternoon nap? The vast wooded acreage provides a perfect escape for that 20-minute power nap to ensure you can last until 2am with The One-Eyed Show and Freekbass.
Looking for that early Christmas gift for the special hippie in your life? Check out the vending!
Help Keep the Speedway Green
Every morning of Tabfest a clean up crew scours the entire 22 acres of the Mendon Speedway picking up litter. Please feel free to join in...we'll have huge trashbags and recycling bins (and don't forget to save your tabs).
Finally, help us make Tabfest a success by being respectful of the other festival attendees.
Please no glass bottles or dogs!
