2008 BandsFreekbass Freekbass has collaborated with funk legend, Bootsy Collins, for several projects, the most recent being Freekbass', The Air Is Fresher Underground, released in late October, 2003. Underground features guest appearances by Bootsy, Catfish Collins, Buckethead, Bernie Worrell and a few of the Woo Warriors, to name a few. This is Freekbass' second album to be executive produced by Bootsy, the first being Body Over Mind, Gemini/Bootzilla, 2001. The whole Freekbass story, however, goes back to the very first "Bootsy" collaboration. Fareed Haque Group Guitar virtuoso Fareed Haque enjoys a career that spans the spectrum of musical styles. Charlie Hunter Trio Charlie Hunter is an American jazz, rock and fusion guitarist. He played a seven-string guitar and organ in Michael Franti's political rap group, The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy. The One-Eyed Show (aka - toes) sounds like : black crowes, john scofield, peter tosh, johnny cash, and the allman brothers had a love child. One Under Formed in early 2005, One Under has quickly become the newest emerging musical force to come out of Ohio. The sextet is comprised of former members of Ekoostik Hookah, The Shantee and The Ark Band and is forging a sound incorporating elements of Roots Rock, American Jazz, Progressive Rock, Afro-Cuban Latin and Pure Funk Back Beat. Will Freed Band just wrapped up a busy summer, gaining popularity and opening for National acts such as Hinder, Papa Roach, BuckCherry, and John Popper of Blues Traveler. Divine Day Divine Day first came together as a group in January 2007. At that point, they were just four youthful individuals who all shared the same passion for writing and playing music. Mike Switzer Mike has been writing songs for going on 2 decades now. He recently realized that songwriting is the thing he does best.
