Lady Bird and the Vultures are a new band to the Columbus scene. Having been together for less than a year, they have come a long way since the Spring of 2009. First to meet was lead vocalist Stephanie "Lady Bird" Rogers of Celina, OH and guitarist Jake Reis of Columbus. Thirsty to play and enjoy some local music, Reis and Rogers were introduced at a Columbus blues jam by local great Deb Landolt. With admiration for each other's talent and an eagerness to perform, they decided to start a young blues/rock inspired band. Reis quickly contacted a good friend and local drummer Rich Thompson, Columbus. The three musicians immediately developed a great friendship. And after jumping some hurdles to find their bass guitarist, they were excited to find the talented Andy Elias of Toledo. Individually, each member has played in several bands and with a powerful female vocalist like Rogers, Lady Bird and the Vultures are ready to rock Columbus. They put a twist on old rock and blues tunes creating a sound uniquely their own, best heard live! Look for them in the Columbus area, you won't wanna miss em!!
